Robert W. Haines
Originally from Binghamton, New York, Rob attended the University of Notre Dame, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He then headed south for the warmer climate of Chapel Hill and law school at the University of North Carolina. Before starting his law practice, he served as a Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and as a Vice President and Regional Trust Officer with Southern National Bank. He was admitted to the practice of law in South Carolina in 1979. He received a degree from Northwestern University Graduate School of Trusts in 1984. He is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and resides in Mt. Pleasant with his wife Kathy.

Amy M. Haines
Although born in Toledo, Ohio, Amy grew up in Mt. Pleasant. She started working with her father after school and during summers while in high school. She received her BA in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with highest distinction. She then attended the University of South Carolina School of Law, graduating first in her class in 2000. She clerked for the Hon. William L. Howard Sr. at the Court of Appeals before returning to Charleston to practice with her father in 2002. She lives in West Ashley with her husband Ron and their cat, Governor Zebulon B. Vance.
